Past. Present. Future
Crystal Jean was born in 1983 in Oakland, CA and spent her childhood between Oakland, CA and Reno, NV. After graduating high school in 2001, she was set on a path towards fashion design. Crystal immediately attended design school in the Fall of 2001. After years of studying fashion design, it was clear that there was something missing.
In the Spring of 2010, Crystal took a gamble and moved to Las Vegas, NV to give design school one last chance. It soon became clear design was no longer her passion. She finally decided to take a few art classes at the College of Southern Nevada in 2014, and it instantly changed her life. It was then, that she realized that it was creativity that she craved, and not fashion. Art immediately became the love of her life. Set to graduate in May of 2017, Crystal’s goal is to make art her business for life.
